She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Mortician work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has worked as a Mortician like her father before her.
