History: Alston was born with his mother's beautiful face. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Stableman. He became a Stableman soon after.

History: Vaina was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She's also a talented Soapmaker, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered west to less war torn lands. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
