Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Portia will drive conversation. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Quarethon never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
