History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her parents were killed by brigands in a raid when she was still a young child. The brigands captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. He found a children's book about a Dwarf Warlock who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a Scribe soon after.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Scribe responsibilities is difficult.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Oriff grew up listening to her father's many stories. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered south to less war torn lands. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and to reunite with her old friends

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she has money and likes to spend it
