He prefers to carry a longbow, but if one is not available he will default to his longsword, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'1" when asserting himself. He sports a flattop crest cut. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Carter born in the past three hundred years. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He got into the Carter business at a young age. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and seeks redemption

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Description: A 4'9" southern woman, she typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep pastel leather and dull yellow iron scale mail. Her fur is cut close to her head. She is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: Sariel speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: The child of a Guard, who enjoyed hunting, Sariel was taken on many hunting expeditions. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes
