Personality: She will rave to anyone who will listen. She is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, River was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. River grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did River. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Like her mother and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Carter. She has achieved small success as a Carter.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
