History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Description: This southern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. He wears a Stetson hat to hide his balding. His eyes are a pleasant blue.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Ratanák was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified.
