His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. He is bald on top and has large red tufts of hair around his ears. Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Alston fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Miller mother left him crippled. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. When triggered she is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: She was born at the edge of vast desert. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. Being a Layabout kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
