His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He struck the Baker job and began his own company from there.

She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When Katherine reached her early adolescence her Half-Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She now spends her time doing works of charity.
