History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Elaim was born on a far eastern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Map Maker. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Helen is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. She found a children's book about a Human Wizard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
