Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Mella alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Mella was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: She was born at the edge of vast desert. Through the years after Melissa was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Melissa's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
