The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by drow. Susannah was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the drow.

Description: This slender man stands about 3'0". He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He has dyed his greying auburn hair a little too much giving a sharp auburn color. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Bertram was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Fortune-teller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
