History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Cartwright for hire.
