History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. After coming to the age of reason, Valanthe took it upon herself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She was granted necromantic powers by her dying brother.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bather hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Gerbo alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it

History: Ilde was born with her father's beautiful face. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.
