History: Valorean was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Map Maker. He's also a talented Sage, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Description: He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright white and grey, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He has done his best to style his chestnut hair to look like a famous performer. His brown eyes peer out from beneath his wide-brimmed white hat.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. The war was a terrible time for him, and Shump does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. After months of barely getting by, Shump managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Description: This exceptionally lanky man tends to wear a black poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. He sports a long white beard, and similarly colored long hair. His hazel unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this eastern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after Ûgakûga was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Ûgakûga's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east.

Description: 4'11" and muscular, this northern woman wears a large hat to cast shadows over her face and wears ponchos to better hide her body. Her deerstalker hat is riddled with cuts and holes. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Merchant born in the past three hundred years. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. A gifted student she started as a Bellfounder, but she got bored and became a Merchant. She became a Merchant soon after.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Merchant responsibilities is difficult.
