Personality: Gardain is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: He was born into a rich family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: She hates Gnomes with a passion. As such she is filled with self loathing. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Born in the east to a Ruler, Nissa learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Ruler work with an outfit from a few towns over. Ruler work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Ruler for hire.
