Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. The war was a terrible time for her, and Baelitae does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A freak accident while working with her Carter mother left her crippled. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. After a long history of fighting, Valida and her spouse have recently divorced.
