History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Through the years after Barfa was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Barfa's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: Carlin is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She was granted necromantic powers by her dying sister.
