History: Alston lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He's also a talented Fisher, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Keyleth alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
