Through the years after Keyleth was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Keyleth's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of goblins may trigger it at times.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Carter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Description: A middle-aged woman, she wears a shirt that is too small, which lets her gut show, with a ratty yellow coat over it, and is pretty ugly. She keeps her long golden hair kept up in a rat tail. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Hugolina was orphaned to a temple shortly after her birth. She was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above herself and to hold her god always in her heart. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Hugolina was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking northern young adult. He very much looks the part of a Stableman. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. His red hair is unkempt and raggedy. He has gleaming, smiling green eyes.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Merchant profession.

History: He got into the Stableman business at a young age. A gifted student he started as a Merchant, but he got bored and became a Stableman. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Stableman for the past few years.

Motivation: Expand his business.
