History: Born to a Priest, his mother struggled to pay the bills. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and wants to work out more often

Description: He is an average looking eastern male in his early mid-life. He wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. His hair is silver and curly. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is his passion; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. She takes great joy in being the best Guard in town.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She became a Guard soon after.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average woman, she is not imposing. She wears a shirt that is too small, which lets her gut show, with a ratty grey coat over it. Her auburn hair, when down, is lengthy. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and to prove her worth to the world
