History: Smoking hails from a village terrorized by illithids. A freak accident while working with his Masseuse mother left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears a violet vest and prefers black and grey shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. He wears his golden hair down. His brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Elves became a terror of the countryside. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Description: She is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. She is physically well-built. Her auburn hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a broad hat. She is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Stacee embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. The occasional robbery is her preferred attention getting crime, but she mainly uses her means for meeting her own perverse desires.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Seeks redemption.

Description: She is a pot bellied northern woman with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. She is dressed in a clean grey cloak covering her clean studded leather. She wears her red hair down. Her blue eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 2. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: Born to a Ploughman, her mother struggled to pay the bills. While she appears to be a normal Dwarf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. Some 4 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Helgret never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.
