Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it.

History: She was born into a rich family. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Performer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.
