History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Malquis grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Halfling companion (her 'brother'). She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: He is a Engraver first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Engraver for hire.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and balancing his hectic life and new engraver responsibilities is difficult

Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized green coat. Her silver crest is heavily combed to the left. Her gold eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. She is stubborn though. She always likes to keep a trick up her sleeve. She likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if she feels she even has a chance of losing.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. She found a children's book about a Dragonborn Monk who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and she's looking for her big break

Description: He is scrawny and has patchy golden stubble. He wears grey trousers with blue and green striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts. He has a hunchback. He has shaved his head bald. His blue eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ulfgar grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ulfgar. He became a Miner soon after.
