History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. When Ranala reached her early adolescence her Gnome mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She's also a talented Ploughman, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: Thorin hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. After a long history of fighting, Thorin and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and obtaining odd cultural half-elven artifacts is his passion

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he has money and likes to spend it

Description: She sports black clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. She cuts an attractive figure and her suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. She has dark red hair. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her gold eyes.

Personality: Prone to second guessing herself, she comes off as nervous. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Detective profession.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She worked as a nervous Animal Trainer and found it very stressful. She became a Animal Trainer soon after.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and sabotage a competitor
