History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He worked as a nervous Engraver and found it very stressful. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Elama was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her childhood dream was to be a Carter, but she was a colossal failure. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Interpreter for hire.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
