Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Darrow grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Darrow. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She seeks to pay back kindness whenever she gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip she always seeks to do solids for her friends.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the east. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. After a long history of fighting, Fabien and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
