Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of goblins may trigger it at times.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Ernest was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and she feels threatened by others

Description: A moderately attractive man, he dresses well, wearing brown shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. His black fur is braided into rings. His half smiles and hazel eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: Moon is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. Moon enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day.

Description: She wears a brown shirt with thin red vertical stripes and grey pants, and she perpetually has her hammer ready. Her blonde hair, when down, is lengthy. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: This woman loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is her passion; and an old rival family wants her found
