History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Barbena was born on a far western plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Healer. Some 2 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Barbena never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Baradad liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Gardener. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: Born to a Shipwright, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Shepherd hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Valanthe embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: She was born at the edge of vast plains. In her 17th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Valanthe alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: She wants revenge against illithids; and a deep hatred of illithids
