He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: Portia was born the youngest of three triplets. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Description: A pudgy woman standing about 3'5" has a big stupid grin on her face most of the time. She wears a fine chain shirt which she covers with tan colored cloaks and clothing. Her hair is always cut to a buzz. Her blue eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Ruler arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears a tattered pair of loose brown pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. His yellow fur has been sun bleached extensively. His hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: Shifting lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
