Description: This western man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears yellow robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a hammer, but if one is not available he will default to his ceremonial dagger. He has done his best to style his black hair to look like a famous performer. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He hates Half-Elves with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Fortune-teller.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He dresses like a well dressed Cook does. His small hat is riddled with cuts and holes. He has blue eyes and a tan hat with a brown feather.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the east. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Peren grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Peren. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and to be a herbalist again

Description: This light-skinned male prefers to wear flannel. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. He wears a top hat to hide his balding. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: He was born in the south. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Gorfel was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: She wears baggy red pantaloons and a white scarf. She is physically well-built. Her brown hair is matted, messy, and big. Her eyes are likewise brown.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Halfling in existence. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She moved out west to avoid the crime she committed. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to share knowledge with the world
