History: Born to a Bellfounder, his father struggled to pay the bills. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He tends to his Roofer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Oriff was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out

History: Pog was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. After a long history of fighting, Pog and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Chem lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
