History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Shamash hails from a village terrorized by orcs. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shamash fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
