Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this southern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Umpen was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Umpen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Nicholas's homeland. Nicholas decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nicholas fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. A true patriot, Vani would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Vani lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Masseuse they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Laborer, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
