Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. The war was a terrible time for him, and Ekemon does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Ekemon was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Description: This woman is bedraggled and starved. She wears just a yellow suit. Her brown hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. Her eyes are brown.

Personality: This woman loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers
