History: Sark was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Sark has worked very hard to control his curse. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Nyx hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying south to reunite her family. After a long history of fighting, Nyx and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and she seems to be bored by most things

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his religion dominates his actions

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Server. He became a Server soon after.
