Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Adam never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers
