History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the east. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature falchion.

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of goblins once and for all.

History: Alain hails from a village terrorized by goblins. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and a strong sense of loyalty to halfling people

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. Energy wise she seems alert and responsive.

History: Born in the south to a Bricklayer, Oriff learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Like her mother and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Bricklayer. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Bricklayer responsibilities is difficult; and she has decided she is irredeemable
