Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Portia was born on a far western plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Mayor. After a long history of fighting, Portia and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Mayor and was forced into it by her family; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he wears a white tunic with grey highlights, and long brown pants that bunch up around his shoes. His brown hair and beard is wavy and long. He has brown eyes and a white hat with a grey feather.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Pikar grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Pikar. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She has worked as a Ploughman like her mother before her.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Born in the west to a Barber, Andry learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. A freak accident while working with her Blacksmith mother left her crippled. She tends to her Barber job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Barber responsibilities is difficult; and further expansion of business
