History: Modean was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Masseuse hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Navigator. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Born in the south to a Layabout, Avice learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.
