History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. After a long history of fighting, Gaaki and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge
