History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Cumpen grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Cumpen. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.
