History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: Emerald hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. The war was a terrible time for him, and Emerald does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Emerald was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Bellfounder arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. Some 8 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Nuthra never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.
