Kilvar decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: He is a Merchant first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Kipper lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Merchant. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Namfoodle grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She now owns her own business.
