History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ulfgar grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ulfgar. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. Through the years after Spring was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Spring's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
