Marigold decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She got into the Cartwright business at a young age. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Tiefling artifacts is her passion.

She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Miner for hire.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.
