History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Ernest was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Voice: High pitched and raspy

Description: She is in excellent shape and wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. She usually doesn't wear a shirt. Her white hair is heavily combed to the left. Her silver eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: She was born at the edge of vast forest. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. Some 7 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Rieta never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions
