It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Tabaxi in existence. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. When Zephan reached his early adolescence his Tiefling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He tends to his Sailor job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: Born in the north to a Courier, Odo learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Courier for hire.
