Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. Az-Rans enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Locksmith hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has worked as a Locksmith like his father before him.

History: She was born in the west. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Gnomish companion (her 'brother'). She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and obtaining odd cultural gnomish artifacts is her passion
