Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Scribe born in the past three hundred years. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Dyer profession.

History: She was born at the edge of vast desert. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Scribe. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Description: An older man who prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs, he is not a threatening figure. He has dyed his greying chestnut hair a little too much giving a sharp chestnut color. His fierce black eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His first spouse was a Bather, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Dyer and was forced into it by his family.

She wears a wide-brimmed hat to hide her balding. Her eyes are likewise red. Her teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: She thrives on attention. She does whatever is in her power to gain the attention of whomever she deems a fit date. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Merchant. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and she is unsatisfied with her job

Description: He usually wears his brown robe and has his longbow always slung over his shoulder. His blonde hair and beard is wavy and long. He has several tiny emerald earrings on each ear.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and someone believes him a fraud
